It has been a rough week, it started out with just a tiny ache in my tooth, which of course, I ignored. I just keep pretending it isn't hurting and you guessed it, woke up Wednesday morning with my jaw all swollen and tooth hurting so bad, I wanted to cry. I went to the doctor and he prescribed a strong antibiotic and painkiller, it has been 1 day and the pain isn't as bad. But why didn't I go to the dentist to start with, instead of waiting. It is so hard to work when you are in pain.
But did manage to get some bears done, using a Sweet Meadows farm pattern. These have always sold well for me.
Next, I got some 12" wreaths and made my Santa's reindeer head and stuck in the wreaths, and finished off with some wooden signs and a Peace ornament I bought from Walmart. These are so easy to make.
We leave for the show in Savannah next Thursday, I don't know where all the time has gone, didn't get nearly half of what I wanted to get done or finished yet. So I will be up late for the next few nights working hard.
Should have some other items ready to show you tomorrow.
take care and happy crafting
I love those bears. I've bought patterns from Sweet Meadow before. I'll have to look for that pattern.
ReplyDeleteGood luck in your craft show. Looks like you'll have a great assortment of wonderful things.
Hope your tooth is fixed before your show. Toothaches are the worst!

ReplyDeleteI was just checking out some of your patterns. I had to order a couple :}
I have a question. Where do you get the rusty cans?
Oh, I hope you feel better soon. There's nothing worse than a tooth ache! The little bears are adorable! So much personality!
ReplyDeleteHey, sorry to hear about your tooth. I got my patterns today. But order another because I ordered the Father Christmas before and had intended to order one of the snowmen patterns. I can't believe I did that. I just love those bears and I have that pattern, I'm going to try to make some of those little bears. Sure hope you get you tooth taken care before you leave to go to your show. Wish I lived nearer I sure would come and see you. Take care.
