Got more crafting done today and New Logo

Hi, Hope you all are enjoying my Christmas in July. I just got my new Christmas Logo from http://www.debslosttreasures.com/ . She is awesome, her graphics are great, hard to pick out just one. My house sures smells good, I have been making more room sprays. I made 35 today, 3 different scents: Monkey Farts, Amish Harvest and Pumpkin Pie. I love them all. I have got more oils ordered, for some new scents that I haven't tried before. I still have to put the individual hang tags on each bottle describing the scent. I have a little Monkey graphic that will go on the Monkey Farts. That one sold out fast last year, I was hesitant about ordering it, because of the name, but the men loved it. The husbands always seem to pick up that one first.

Well, Today I have another project I am working on to share with you. I made 3 pillows from red and blue ticking, with small, medium and large sized pillows ,then I printed a verse off on muslin and handstitched to the smaller pillow. I used the easiest product for printing off my designs from the computer. It is from www.cjenkinscompany.com . It is freezer paper sheets already cut into 8 1/2' x 11" sheets, just iron your muslin to the sheet. Trim and place in printer and print off your design, you just peel off the backing. I then, tied all 3 pillows together with a piece of jute tied in a bow. I added some cedar, rusty safety pin w/rusty bell and attached a prim tag. I made some of these with Christmas Carol lyrics and some with bible verses.

As you can see, Little Bit, my cat always seem to find what ever I am trying to work on and make himself comfortable.

I made the pillows in the following size:

cut (2) pieces 5 1/2" x 7" for small pillow

cut (2) pieces 8 1/2" x 9" for medium pillow

cut (2) pieces 9" x 11" for the large pillow

Sew together with right sides together, leave an opening to stuff. Clip seams and turn right side out. Stuff pillow with sawdust, this gives it a nice weight and it lays flat. Stain if desired.

I had several emails asking where I purchased my keys for the Santa's Keys. I get my keys from http://www.craftsalers.com/ They are already kind of rusty and they are about 4" long. I wasn't sure how much I would get done today, between running errands for my dad and myself. I had to take his little poodle to groomers today, it took them over 3 hours to get him groomed. But I have to say, he looks like a different dog, even came home with a cute bandana tie aroundhis neck. My dad seems to be feeling better, he is looking better and the doctor told him today, that his clot in his lung would eventually disolve, I think he was left with the impression from the hospital that it was something that he would have to live with. Now he seems a little more relieved, because this doctor gave him more hopeful news.
