Well, it has been a busy week, been working on these little guys, they are from my #443 Twas the night before Christmas pattern, had a bunch of cheeseboxes in the shed, so made up 9 of these. One of my favorite patterns this year.

I made up a bunch of these #440 Prairie bagholder dolls. I am making them to make the prairie dolls in the next picture. I am putting the little feedsacks in the hands instead of the chicken. I love the feedsacks.
I have several of these almost done, just have to put the feedsack in their hands. These are from Carmen's pattern Colonial blessings , I have it available on my website under Olde Farmhouse road patterns. These sell extremely well for me. I think everyone likes the size of these, they are about 54" tall.
Next, I got these patterns from the Polka pig and can't wait to make this one. I also have it available on my website just check under polka dot pig button
I recently found some bobbins in my shed and these are perfect for making these big chickens. when I get them made I will post pictures.
This is going to be a busy weekend, get up early tomorrow to go to HOBBY LOBBY with my daughter, it is so much fun now that she wants to go to the same stores as I do. The crafting bug has hit her hard. she is doing a great job on the aprons and stitcherys. She called me the other day and told me she made some aprons, and they were perfect. She seems to taken to it. She will shortly have her website up, the Stitchery and aprons will be on there. Then tomorrow , Ihave to go with hubby to his race, he is running in a marathon this weekend. Three races and I will be there tomorrow at the finish line, taking a picture.
you go girl! LOL

Sandy,
ReplyDeleteI do not know how you do it!! you make such wonderful crafts and still find time to spend with family. Samantha's aprons are wonderful, the apple does'nt fall far from the tree. I too followed in my mom's foot steps of a life long crafter and I love it. Good luck to your hubby on his marathon. I can only dream to accomplish such a goal.
Prim Blessings,
Jean
