Busy, busy week

well, I had my port put in on Wednesday, wasn't too bad. I start my treatment on Wednesday. It will be 6 hours, I have to be there. I go one day every three weeks for treatment and the other two weeks, just go for a blood test. So at least I don't' have to do the everything thing. If this works, I may be off of it in 3 sessions. So trying to get stuff I can take with me to work on. I have a hard time sitting not doing anything. I like to stay busy, so I guess I will get me some romance books, and some stitchery's ready to take.

I found some these sleighs at goodwill. I have 3 of them. I really like the way it turned out.

I am babysitting Samantha's dogs for her today. Everywhere I go they follow me. This is Harley peeking over the bed.

Got 4 more of the candy cane Santas made. These sold really well for me last time. I still need to get their tags made.

Finally, got the pattern for my new Santa's Stocking ready. Just look on the sidebar for the pattern. Pattern is $6.00 for the epattern.

trying to take pics of my items outside, and the dog's keep getting in the way.

Hurley getting too close as I try to take a picture.

I got 5 of these mittens done from an Old Road Primitives, these make up quick and love the way they turned out. I like to use alot of Angel vine in my boxes, it is a great filler.

closeup of the mitten. Still need to make the tags.

well, got to get back to work. Still have to walk these dogs before the trick or treaters come out in full force. They trick or treat here tonight with the downtown festival.
Hope to post more in a day or so.

  1. Sandy,
Good luck with the port and chemo. My friend Jayme has two. She goes for chemo, one day, the first week, two days the second, and the third week off. Over and over.
I wish you well!!! Love your crafts.
    Hugs,

  5. Good Evening Sandy Sweetie...
I just wanted to pop by and let you know that I am storming the heavens with prayers sweet friend. Remember baby steps, don't push yourself sweet friend.

I love the things that you have made. I can see why the Santa with the candy cane sells so well, he is out of this world precious. Love it, and the mittens are just so HAPPY. I love them. You do beautiful work sweetie. Wish I lived closer and could shop at the store, but patterns do me no good, I don't have a sewing machine that works, so I love looking at all of your creations and dream.

Many hugs sweetie and SO much love, Sherry

P.S. I will be watching for updates honey. Again prayers, prayers and more prayers. Love ya.

  10. Sandy, Hope all goes well for you with the treatments. I completely understand the "like to stay busy" comment. I can't imagine you not doing something...you are like a machine when it comes to creating! I would tell you to take it easy...and to relax a bit...but, if you are anything like me...creating is relaxing...LOL! Just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Blessings
