Rum Balls anyone

My daughter and I made a big batch of rum balls, pretzels, brownies, fudge and cupcakes so far.  She is taking some of her rum balls to work.  They are sooo good. So if you like rum, you will love these. Samantha gave them an extra dusting of powdered sugar.  Her dog Hurley, was sitting begging, and she decided to give her doggie one and guess what, SHE LOVED IT and wanted another, even stood up on her back legs and put her paws on the counter begging.  We didn't let her have anymore, can't imagine they are good for a dog.
But here is the recipe if anyone is interested.

Rum Balls
2 1/2 cups vanilla wagers
1/2 cup rum
3 T. Bourbon or brandy
1 c. ground pecans
1 c. powdered sugar
2 T. cocoa
3 T. karo syrup

Roll vanilla wafers between wax paper to crush.  Add all dry ingredients together.  Mix well.  Add rum and bourbon or brandy.  Drizzle karo syrup over mixture.  Mix thoroughly, this is real sticky, so I just use my hand.  Roll into balls, then roll in powdered sugar.

My neighbors all love these. It wouldn't be Christmas without these.
