Merry Christmas to everyone. I have really enjoyed getting to know a lot of my fellow bloggers. Its so hard to believe that Christmas is here and almost gone. This has been a hard year and hope this coming year will be alot easier. I will be taking the tree down in a few days and doing some major house cleaning. My daughter will be moving out within a few weeks now. I will have another room to decorate, kind of looking forward to that, but will miss my baby. I will be working on getting e-patterns this coming year and hope to have lots of new designs shortly on both sites. So hope all are enjoying the holidays, the New Year will be here before we know it.

sent me this poem, I really enjoyed reading it and wanted to share, I know a lot of people have lost a loved one this year and it is comforting when you read something like this:
Merry Christmas from Heaven
I still hear the songs
I still see the lights
I still feel your love
on cold wintery nights
I still share your hopes
and all of your care
I'll even remind you
to please say your prayers
I just want to tell you
you still make me proud
You stand head and shoulders
above all the crowd
Keep trying each moment
to stay in His grace
I came here before you
to help set your place
You don't have to be
perfect all of the time
He forgives you the slip
If you continue the climb
To my family and friends
please be thankful today
I'm still close beside you
In a new special way
I love you all dearly
now don't you shed a tear....
'Cause I'm spending my Christmas with Jesus this year.

As much as I love Christmas, I also look forward to the fresh new year and it looks like you are feeling the same way. Peace and Joy to you. So glad I found your blog this year. ♥

Sandy,
ReplyDeleteThat is a very nice poem that was sent to you. I wish you a great start to a New Year. I hope you enjoy decorating your new added space when your daughter moves out. I remember those times when my two moved out. But it's great that we know that our children are doing well when the move out. You know you did something right raising them. Your lucky yours is so close. My son and his family are in stationed in Germany and my Daughter and her family are in Charoltte, NC.
I look forward to all of your new patterns that you will be adding.
Take care,
Melanie

Thank you for posting this. I have lost so many in my life and this year is a bit harder as I had a recent loss that I am still working on. Sorry about your losses as well; but it looks like your family was well loved and cherished every day by you. What a gift you were to them. Happy New Year
