Back from the show

Well, we are back from the show. Have to say it wasn't the greatest show, we did make some money. But there was not one booth I purchased from, I was picturing antiques. I thought I would come home with bobbins, wood boxes and lots of goodies. There were some good booths, but not enough. We did get to meet some fellow bloggers and made some more wholesale contacts with some shop owners.
We went to the Prim store down there and that was a treat. Hope to get back down and look around at all the shops. It is a really nice town. We are told that the fall show is the best to get into, so are thinking about Samantha and Chris doing the fall one and Todd and I doing MacIntosh.

Our wholesite starts up on April 1st. If you are interested in buying or selling on our new facebook site, please let me know. I sent out notices to alot of people for their info, but sure I missed someone. So If you did not get an email, please let me know. Right now we are doing our site on Facebook only. Hope to have a blog soon so everyone will have a chance to join if they don't do facebook.
My email has been acting up, I can't send out any emails today, so If you have emailed me and I haven't responded please know that I will as soon as it gets back up. Waiting on hubby to get home.

I have put up some of my pictures of our show. Samantha did great with her tarts, warmers and aprons. She made more of the country looking aprons and everyone loved them. Meet some of my regular customers at the show. Melanie Cox Keaton was there and meet another Sandra Schmidt, we met through facebook, our names are so similar.

Been sick this week, not feeling well, first day back on the computer. Finally figured out the pain medicine they gave me, was keeping me so tired and groggy all I could do was sleep all day. So rather suffer than be so sleepy I can't function.

  1. I love seeing all the neat items in your booth! I'm so glad I got to shop there last year and buy some things from you. You and Samantha are both so talented. I wish I could buy ALL of your bears! I love them so! I hope you feel better now. I'm keeping you in my prayers. Hugs!

  2. I know I've seen your booths and show displays before, but they never cease to amaze me. Wow....just wow! What I wouldn't give to be able to attend one just once! You have some great items - and love how neatly and tidily things are displayed. Did a little catching up on your prior posts, as I have been running behind - and was sorry to read you've not been well. Hope things take a turn for the better soon - and praying for strength and perseverance through your upcoming treatments. Hold onto the joy that the beast if gone..... Hugs & Blessings ~ Robin

  3. Hello Sandy,
I too, wish I could be closer so I could shop one of your shows. Robin is right, everything is so neat and tidy, I'm impressed! Some folks just don't think that is important to attract people. Sorry to hear that is was pretty slow.
I hope you get to feeling better soon. You girls sure make some wonderful items and LOTS of them!
I'm thinking about the wholesale site. I'll email you as I'd like a little more info if that's possible.
    hugz~

  4. Everything looks wonderful...Your booth always looks amazing. You do a wonderful job setting up your prims. I love the barn cats and teddy bears. Maybe the next show will do a little better for you. I haven't done a craft show in years.
Sorry to hear about your pain...hope you can find a pain pill that will work without the sleepy feelings. Take Care and thanks for sharing your show pictures with us. :)

  6. Hi, Sandy:
Sorry you didn't think the show went as well as it could have.
I can't believe people don't grab up your dollies.
I hope you feel better. I know about the pain medicine. I just started a week ago on some and my sweetheart keeps asking me why I'm sleeping so much, don't I feel well? We just figured out that it was the new prescription.
Ugghh. I hope you can adjust to yours, sometimes it just takes a week or so.
    Hugs,
    Susan
