Test results, dolls and beeswax

Well, it has been a busy week. Went for my test results on Monday. I had a substitute doctor. My regular doctor is on maternity leave. I have to say I did not like him. First off, I have never had to put a robe on, in that office. so he comes in and say put the robe on and I will be right back. Then he feels my neck and stomach and underarms. They says, go ahead and get dressed and then we will talk. Needless to say at this time, I was worried. then he comes in a says, the pet/scan looked good. Now why couldn't he have said that the first time. I will start maintenance treatments in about a month or so, every 6 months I will have to take 4 cycles of drugs in the chemo dept. I want to thank everyone for there emails and support. Hoping now I can get back to work and not stress too much.

I was able to get 4 of these Raggedies done, one was for an order. This is actually my 314 Annie's Snowman, I just made her without the snowman. She is a big girl. I used rags to help stuff her body and she has a little bit of weight to her.

These scarecrows are my Olde Scarecrow. I still have to make the bag and more corn to go with them. These sold right away last year at my MacIntosh show. Still working on scarecrows.

I have had a lot of request for my beeswax items. I will have them on my website shortly. This are little niblets of corn. They measure about 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". I am offering them for 12/$5.00 plus shipping.

Next are little corn on the cob pieces. These are flat on the back. They measure 3 1/2" -4" long. I have dusted them with powdered clove spice. These are 6/8.95 plus shipping.

These are full little ears of corn. They measure about 3 1/2" long. These are 3/6.95 plus shipping.

These little gingerbreads are approx. 2" high. You get a boy and girl with hanging loop. If you don't want the loop for hanging, just state no hole in top. A set of these are $1.95 plus shipping.

These are larger version of the small gingerbread couple. This couple measures approx. 3 1/2". Set of 2 are $2.95 plus shipping.

This is my bigger gingerbread man, he is approx. 6" tall. He is $3.95 plus shipping.

These shoes are my number one bestseller. They can be hooked together with a hanging thread or just used to sit on a shelf. One pair of shoes is $1.95 plus shipping.

You get a set of 7 jingle bells, these bells are approx. 1" - 1 1/2" in size. Berries and greenery will vary. Set of jingle bells $9.95 plus shipping. (bowl not included)

The Farmer's Daugther is approx. 5 1/2" tall. She is $3.95 plus shipping.

Beeswax Santas are 3 1/2" tall and are $2.95 plus shipping.

  3. I was wondering what you have been up to. I think Dr's like that should not be in practice. I am sorry but I am a customer service Rep an if I acted like some of these Dr's do my butt would be out the door!

Anywho..I am glad your scans went well!!! Always thinking best thoughts for you.

  5. Golly, Sandy, can this ordeal you've been through finally be easing up for you? I hope so. I know
you and Samantha are really busy right now with
web orders, shows and of course The Wedding!
The Annies are gorgeous as always. The beeswax
cornies and corns and all of them are awesome.
Of course, I'm partial to the Gingers! Every time I sit at the table the sweetest scent just wafts through the air from the Gingers in my grandmother's wooden dough bowl. I just love them
and always think of you and Samantha.
    Warmest Regards,
    Susan B., Western MA

  6. Sandy that is good news, though I that Dr. sounds like he's strictly by the book. Still can't figure out why he made you put on the robe just to feel your neck!
Will continue to keep you in my prayers.
I look at all you've gotten done and I wonder where your energy comes from??? Loving all the new wax things you've made.
    hugz,
    Sheila

  9. So glad to hear there's some hopeful news out there - and praying for a full and speedy recovery. Sometimes I think physicians play on our fears - perhaps unintentionally - I hope that's so, and pray it's not intentionally so. Your beeswax creations are incredible....I want them all!! Ok, no can do, but will be off to your website....soon! Take care - Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  16. Great news Sandy! Some Drs just don't have good bedside manners~ he should have told you right off the bat your scan was clear. Love all the creativity! I am sending you an email to purchase a few if possible.

  18. Good thing that the scans look good. Wishing you a fast recovery. Doctors baffle me. Bedside manners count for more than they think. You are awesome to have such a good attitude about everything. You just keep right on plugging away. I love the beeswax corn. It almost looks good enough to eat. -Steph-
