I can't believe how long it has been since I have been on here. so many things going on. Samantha's wedding is less than 2 weeks away. We have been running around trying to get last minute things finished. Still have party favors to get done. She has another shower Friday Night.
I haven't been able to get much done these past couple of weeks. I did manage to get 4 of my To all a goodnight pattern finished. These were smaller boxes, so I didn't put the light at the end.

I finished a couple of more scarecrows. This one is my Harry pattern from the You are Special pattern line. I added raffia for the hair, instead of the jute. I like this look so much better.
I found some more wood boxes in the shed and made up some of the Santa's Sleigh. These have always been a good seller for me.
I made up some of these little beeswax mason jars. They are about 2 1/2" in height.
they are $1.95 plus shipping.
Trying to finish up scarecrow heads tonight. Hope to be done with them tomorrow.
I went to the eye doctor on Saturday and I am trying to learn how to wear bifocal contacts. Everything's looks a little blurry when I try to read. He said I have to get used to them. But I need to be able to read. So not sure if I can handle this. I have a terrible time trying to put them in and take them out. so hoping I get used to them and learn to put them easier.

Well, I promise to start posting more this week. I think I have several days free this week to sew.
Hey Sandy, glad to hear from you, was a little worried about you. Glad you have been busy and not sick. I know you are getting excited about the wedding, I pray that everythings goes just fine. Love all of your craft stuff.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself.

Hi Sandy, Girl you have to be busy with the wedding that close. I still remember how exhausting it was getting ready for Hollys and that was almmost 8 years ago.
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas items you have created and the little mason jars are to die for. Hope you get lots done on your sewing this week. Take care
Angela

ReplyDeleteBlessings to all,

So very good to hear from you again! Love your new goodies - especially those little sleighs - I just love how you do your reindeer! I can't believe that I would be getting any kind of crafting done if my daughter were getting married in 2 weeks...YIKES! Good luck with the bifocals - I had a hard enough time adjusting to the glasses - could never wear contacts comfortably....Happy Tuesday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteHi, Sandy, Oh My Heavens I can't believe Samantha's wedding is only 2 weeks away! It's finally here.
ReplyDeleteIf I don't get another chance I'd like to take this
time to wish you all a beautiful, happy day.
Your Christmas To All A Good Night and Sleigh are
adorable. I love how your Santas and Scarecrows
come out so perfect.
The bifocals are a tough one. They do take a while to get used to. I never liked them. I just use my magnifier glasses from CVS!
Warm Regards,
Susan
Nice to hear from you again. You sound so extremely busy but you keep making great things. I love the mason jars. There is just something about jars that catch my eye. Good luck with the wedding. It will be wonderful I am sure of it. -Steph-
