Update on Carmen

Carmen has had her first surgery, she had three pockets of infection in her shoulder. They lanced those and left it open. She goes back into surgery today, to check and see if it draining properly. They will probably put some kind of drain in her arm to keep it drained. She had to have 2 blood transfusions last night. But we talked for awhile and she seemed a little more calm. They won't tell her long she has to stay in the hospital yet, but hoping for some answers today on that. Alot of you have emailed me and ask about sending cards, she said she would love some cards, but to send them to her home address. Someone is collecting her mail for her. That would give her a big surprise when she gets home to find some cards waiting for her.
Her address is
Carmen Breeden
178 Clinton Rd.
Moultrie, Georgia 31788
We are hoping to get up there Monday to visit her in the hospital and check on her house for her.
Just talked to Celena her daughter and she is in surgery right now, finishing up the surgery. Hope she can have a speedy recovery, she is hoping to get back to sewing again and just being able to clean her house and do things we take for granted.
Thanks so much everyone for their prayers and well wishes, so please send her a card if you get a chance, it will mean so much to her.

  8. Thanks Sandy for the update, I will call her tomorrow, and hopefully she will be feeling better with more drainage. You know, how true, the things we take for granted, since my stroke, I can't do everything like I used to, and it gets frustrating. I will send her a card to the house how are you feeling??? Love, Kimmy.
