Finally found a use for that polyfil we hate to use, santa's and snowman

Well, I actually went to Walmart and bought that awful stuffing they carry now. It works perfectly in the big Santas I made. I hated to use my good stuff in their arms and legs.  the stuff from Walmart won't pack tight and that is exactly what I needed for these guys. I am sure you all remember this pattern, it has been out for along time. It is by Between Friends called Country Cringle.  I kept wanting to make him every year, but never did and am so glad I tried him this weekend. He is huge. He is sitting in one of my dining room chairs.  So definitely going to make some more of these guys.

Finally got around to making some more of my nodders that I have made for the past several years.  I love these guys. I had to buy my bedsprings off ebay.

Well, I had better get a few things sewn up, so I sit and watch my favorite show tonight. True Blood. Just hate that is the season finale. Have to wait another year for it to start again.

  1. I am not sure what walmart carries, but I noticed the last stuff I got at jo anns was the puffy kind. It is nice for some things but not for prim look.

  5. I'm with you on this one Sandy, I hate the new polyfill at Walmart. I don't know what they were thinking. I never miss a episode of True Blood, I love the show. I usually watch it a couple more times during the week. If you get the chance you need to read her books. They are even better then the show!

  6. Like your santa's...you have been busy! Wish I had that much to show for the past few days of working. I actually do have things made but they need to be painted, too hot to go out there and paint all that stuff so far. Oh, I watched my favorite show tonight also... Monday Night FootBall!! Yippeee!!
