New Pattern finished

I guess I am in the mood for Annie's lately. I finished up this Annie yesterday. She is about 25" tall. I still like the chicken theme as you can tell. She is available on the side bar if you are interested in the pattern. I have been playing with feed sacks lately and in this pattern the feed sack panel is included with the pattern. So you will be seeing several Annie's coming up with their feed sack aprons that I am working on.

I bought some paper mache' eggs, painted and stained them and used them for the pattern above and had several left over and put them in an old scoop. I made the chicken tag to go with the scoop. I have the tag pattern down below in the pattern share box if you are interested in it.. Just scroll all the way down to the box.

I am hoping to get some sewing done this weekend, hubby is on night shift, so I have the evenings free. I spent last night reading on my kindle. Reading keeps my mind occupied so I don't dwell on negative things so much. I did catch the new Spartacus. I love that show. So now waiting for the rest of my shows to start back. I don't like a lot of the televisions shows on anymore, so really get anxious for the few I do watch to start again.

Been awhile

I can't believe how long it has been since I last blogged. I haven't been feeling well and everything has gotten behind. I did manage to get some things finished. Pattern orders are backed up. So hopefully I will get caught up this week.

I put our deposit down for a show in March in Mount Dora. I see they accepted the payment, so I am assuming we got in. Just waiting for official word now. We applied for a double booth.
The show is a 2 day show that features antiques, collectibles and crafts. Samantha will have all her new tart warmers and her whole of tarts and some aprons. She has some brand new jar warmers that have crows on that I love. I have so many tart warmers now, but am thinking I may have to keep one for myself. Check out her blog, I have a link on the side to go to her blog. she is redoing her website and tart line. I am working on prim dolls and raggedy's for this show. Haven't ever been to it, so we will have to see how it goes. Last year, I went with Samantha to the Calico show in Moultrie in March. I have to say that show was a big disappointment, hardly any one there, so hoping this one will be a better one. Will post more about the show as it gets closer.

The Raggedies at the top of the page are from a Ragg Bagg Babies pattern. I finally found some little bears at Hobby Lobby to put in her hands. So hard to find supplies anymore.
I dug through my patterns and decided to makes some more of these raggedies. I put a little recipe card and wooden spoon in her hands.

Samantha and I have renewed our friendships with some old friends, just like old times. It is funny, how you can pick right back up where you left off with some people. Even though it has been over 10 years, since we spent any time together. Casey and Samantha have been walking dogs and spending time together. Casey is also getting into jewelry making and hopefully will be doing some of the shows Samantha is doing this year. Trying to talk her mom back into making soap, she used to make the prim soap from the lye, package it real prim looking. So hoping to post some their items soon. It is always fun to have someone to share crafting with.

Well, hoping to start posting more often, thanks to all who have emailed and checked up on me, I really appreciate it. Have so many new friends and am thankful for your concern and friendship.

New Pattern available

I have my newest pattern ready. I call her Annie's Apple pie. She is 26" tall, holds her pie and recipe card. I grunged her a little more than usual. I am adding this one to my You are Special Line, haven't much on it lately. so time to get that website updated some. I have the pattern listed on the side bar if you are interested.

I have a few orders to get done today and tomorrow. So this is a short post, this time. Hope you are all having a great day. hopefully have another pattern or two ready for you this week.

I almost have the one of the new dolls ready, she has her dress on and her feet painted. Now just have get what she holds in her arms done and I will be finished with one of the new ones.

Samantha and I decided to get 3 booths at my Jacksonville show this year. Samantha will have the one next to me, for her tarts and warmers. Her tart business has really taken off. The hard part is to limit it to a certain amount of scents.

We are still trying to decide to whether we want to do a spring show, We found one close by, that we are considering. I have to get busy making up some dolls to be ready for it, it is the 3rd weekend of March.

Well, I have all my Christmas stuff down and put away for next year. Been cleaning out closets and giving a lot to the goodwill and arc stores. I still have too much stuff left. But time to get back to work. I am having a giveaway for the quart sized jar light above and the second giveaway is for 2 candles from Black Crow candle company. I splurged after the last show and bought me a bunch of the Black Crow candles, I love them. I love the graphics and packaging. My biggest New Year's resolution, is to beat this depression that has taken hold of me since my diagnosis. I can't seem to shake it. Worry has become my life. One of my goals this year is to, stop worrying and try to enjoy life again. So really hoping to get back to sewing this week, I actually drew out some doll patterns today and dyed some muslin. So hopefully have a couple of new patterns ready this weekend.

Samantha and I had made these back in March for her Spring show, I had the picture on Facebook and someone saw it and commented on it, then all of a sudden I got several orders for her. I have to admit these little pink haired Annie's grow on you. There was a time I would never had made a pink haired doll.

The dining room back in order, Buddy guarding his spot in front of the fake fireplace. I bought some red plaid curtains for the dining room and kitchen. I have had the blue checked up for years. You can the Christmas lights in the window, that hubby has draped across our pool, he keeps them up all year round.

I took some items off my cupboard, I don't want as much clutter in my life this year.

We needed another chair, and my daughter had one she had bought and wasn't using, and we are using that one now. I wanted to buy one, but hubby liked the free version better. My dream couch and chair are a set I saw up at Circle K, they had a red/white small plaid print, kind of like gingham, I would have loved to buy.

Well, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Year, and hoping we all have a healthier upcoming year.

It is hard believe Christmas is almost here. Another year, gone by so fast. I hope everyone has a great Christmas. I finally got all my shopping done. I went to Walmart today, just see how many people were out. It looks so nice, to see many people shopping and spending money. Hopefully the economy is back on track and we can look forward to a great year, next year.

I bought me another early Christmas present. The Snowman above was a purchase from Ebay. I love him. I am gonna be kind of sad, to take down the decorations this year. Usually, I start taking them down, the day after Christmas. I am probably going to leave my prim tree up till New Year's and leave the outside lights up also. If it would just get cold, it would be wonderful. But we were up in high 70's today. Too hot for Christmas.

I don't know where this past week has gone. We waited until the last minute to get our shopping done. Then we had a bake day. My "second" mom came and helped us, and my daughter's friend, Casey and her 4 year old came over to help. We made rum balls, cookies, date rolls, fudge, banana bread, chocolate cupcakes and peppermint bark. Neighbors all got some goodies.

New Pattern available and update on blog sale

Well, it might be a little close to Christmas for another Christmas pattern, but had so many request to get this one done. I found the sleighs at Target, they were in the front of the store in the bargain bins. Only paid $2.50 each for them. I love this piece. I just sold the original model to a prim lover in Florida. If you are interested in the pattern, it is on the side bar.

Update on blog sale, it rained this afternoon, wasn't able to get out in trailer to see what else I had left. So postponing the sale until Wednesday, there won't be a lot, but I will have it ready about 7:00 Wednesday night for anyone who is interested.

Samantha and I went shopping yesterday, spent way too much money, but have several people done now. Just have to go with Hubby to finish up for Samantha.

I took some pics of the dining room and kitchen, I put a few more things out. I know I said I was not going to put a lot out, but somehow, I keep finding things I just have to have out.

Carmen reminded me I had these, when she was down last year, we both bought some of the dishes. I love them.

Working on orders and my Christmas present to myself

I am still trying to get caught up on orders. I finished up 5 of these today. These have done really well for me. But I have to say I am tired of making them. I have a couple of dolls, a Santa, and some reindeer to make, and then I think I might be finished on orders.

I am trying to get the Santa and reindeer pattern with the sled, finished up this week. Samantha will have a new pattern ready in the next day or so. She has got a new ornament pattern almost ready. She has really been selling the aprons. After her last giveaway on face book, she sold a bunch on Etsy and had some special orders.

Well, I splurged on me, I bought me an electric fireplace. I took out the sterno logs and inserted my electric log set. Luckily it fit, just barely. I love it. I just wish it was colder so it seemed more like winter. Going to be up in the 80's tomorrow.

I hope to get the rest of my Christmas decorations finished up this week. Trying to talk hubby into getting up on the ladder and putting up the lights outside. I may have to do that myself.

Hopefully the blog sale will start on Thursday. I hope to get in the trailer tomorrow and start taking pictures of the leftovers from the show. So keep checking in, I will post the night before when it is going to start.

Christmas decorating

Finally got to start my decorating, Samantha came up last night and helped me put up the tree. We sorted through some of the ornaments and I gave her some that were hers for her tree. You will notice Buddy has his spot under the tree already picked out. I wonder what he will do when we start putting the presents down there.

I have been busy this week with orders, I am still getting them. I thought I would be done by now. But people are still ordering. Hopefully next week at this time, I will be done. I still have to get in the trailer and get stuff ready for my blog sale. I didn't have much left this time. I have a little bit of Carmen's stuff and some of Samantha's apron to add to the blog sale this year.

It only took us about 1 hour and 20 minutes this time, to get the trailer packed. Friday and Saturday were really good, but Sunday the lookers were out. So that was a slow day. But glad the shows are behind me now. I am looking forward to a good housecleaning and getting rid of stuff. I took down all my chicken items and packed them up. I want a less cluttered look this year. I have so much stuff, I need to downsize. Even my Christmas stuff, I am not putting it all out this year. I think sometimes less is better. I want to decorate mostly with small trees with white lights and lots of greenery and a few of my favorite Santas this year and that is all.

I hope to get this pattern done next week. I had several of these at the show and they sold right off. I am going to have a team of reindeer pulling the sleigh in different poses. Samantha found the sleighs for me at Target for only $2.50 each, so I bought all they had. Hope to find some more to add to my stash.

I am ready to start designing again, I always feel so far behind at show season, no time to design, just make for the shows. I keep saying it every year, I am going to start earlier, but it never happens. A friend of mine, Lesa and I are going to have a competition going next year. We will see who can get the most done in a certain amount of time, then whoever loses get the money and gets to buy fabric. We haven't decided how much, but I think we are thinking 5.00 dollars a week. So hoping see the other get to buy fabric and post it, will help us get motivated.

Update on the show

Hi, just a quick update on the show. It is going great. Hubby sat with me today. Missed having Samantha with me, she loves to operate the cash register and I get the easy job of bagging when she is with me.
I have a few more pics to share, still have a few more booths to get around to. I will be at Ellie's booth tomorrow and take some pics and a couple of other booths in the morning.

Here I am with Ginger, She does wonderful applique clothing. Hoping to meetup with her in March for the Strawberry Festival in Plant City. It is a 10 day show. I don't know how she can do a show that long. She said there are 500 hundred booths, it is a country fair with lots of booths and big name entertainment.

This is Judy, she has some really cute prim ornaments. Her booth was looking kind of bare, which is a good thing.

Well, have to leave early again tomorrow morning. Will be glad that the shows are behind me, I am going to spend this week, finishing up a few orders, getting my house cleaned up and putting up my Christmas tree.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone and setting up for our show

Well, we spent Thanksgiving day setting up for our show at Prime Osborne Convention Center in Jacksonville, Florida. I am one of the few original vendors at that show. I have doing this show for 25 years. It makes me sound old doesn't it.

Here are some pics of our booth, still have to go back in the morning and finish up. Samantha went us today. It took us over 4 1/2 hours, had to leave at 7:00, because they closed the doors.
Samantha is going to sit with me tomorrow and hubby the rest the the weekend.

I bought some of these sleds from Dollar General last, pulled out the tacky greenery and made a Santa and reindeers to fit.

Working on Santas today

I have Santa bodies everywhere, I finished these two, they are from my Mr. Jingles pattern. I put a small reindeer food feed sack in their arms this time.

I have a bunch of old sap cans in the shed, and pulled this one today and put a Santa and some trees, I have a bunch of in the can with him. The Santa was a body that had been made for a couple of years now.The arms were in my to do bag, I don't know which doll they originally belonged to. The robe I found in another bag, amazing what you can put together from parts.

I am fast running out of time for this show. But not going to stress, what I have will have to be enough this time. Tomorrow, I am going to buy hubby a tablet or Ipad. I want to have one for him to take to the show with him. He will have to sit 2 days with me. Samantha is going to sit with me on Friday and miss all the black Friday sales.

Working hard of show stuff

Here a few of the things I have gotten done this week. I have 12 of these little Angels finished. These are the ones that Sheila painted the faces and did the bodies for me. I was able to get these finished last weekend while sitting on Sunday with Carmen at the show.

I have 3 of my Sadie dolls finished. I made up the little beeswax lights to go in her hands. I have quite of few of these ready to go. I am going to put them on my prim tree at the show next weekend.

I had some old books and used part of a pattern by Old Road primitives for the book part and Samantha's mouse. These made up quick and easy.

I had purchases several boxes of those plastic icicles from Walmart last year and wasn't sure what to do with them. After I made some beeswax ornaments the other day. I thought why not dip the icicles. These turned out real prim looking. I learned to let my beeswax cool down before dipping them. that is the hardest part for me, patience. It seems to take forever for it to cool down, especially since I am known for walking away from a pot of wax on a stove. I came back in the kitchen the other night and smoke everywhere. I did learn my lesson. Luckily hubby worked that night, so I didn't have to hear, Don't leave things on the stove and walk away.

I started putting things in the trailer today and forgot to take pictures of some of the items. But that back room was driving me crazy with all the show stuff piled high. Well, I have to get some Santas finished tonight.

Samantha and Carmens show in Georgia

We made it back safely. Todd,Samantha and I left on Friday to help Samantha set up, then Todd had to leave to go back to work on Saturday. I sat with Samantha on Saturday, then Chris came up on Saturday evening and sat on Sunday with her. Todd treated us to Waffle house before he headed home.

I got to stay with Carmen Friday and Saturday night. Carmen's daughter Celena, stayed with Samantha at the motel on Friday night. So every one got to have a nice long visit.

My show is right around the corner. Had my doctor's appointment. Don't have to go back until January for blood work. Then next pet scan is in March. So I have a few months to not have to worry about doctor's visits. Been really busy the last couple of days trying to get caught up on orders. I have several finished orders to get done and my show stuff. Be glad when it is over.
We are probably going to do our Thanksgiving on Sunday, since we will be setting up on Thanksgiving day. We will be having Samantha and Chris and a few friends over. I think we are going to have it at Samantha's house this year. That way the guys can play video games if they want, while we cook. Well, hope to have some pics of some of finished stuff ready to show you all tomorrow.

More Mice finished today

I have a lot of half finished projects yet to get done. I finished these mice up yesterday. I had some paddle candle holders and the little mice worked great on them. I have been going through all my bags and boxes looking for last minute things to finish up.

Right now, I have about 20 feed sacks that I stuffing with sawdust. I am doing it in the kitchen, I always make a mess when doing this. I needed a reason to vacuum, so here it is.

Santas, Angels, and Mice

Another busy week, I finished 4 of my Father Christmas. Unfortunately 2 of them I don't get to keep. They were for orders. I am hoping to get a couple more made. I had found some really dark red fabric at Walmart 2 years and bought all they had, of course, now I can't find the dark red. These guys look good in the darker colors. So I am searching for the fabric, hopefully find it for next year.

I got 5 of my #433 Simple Angel finished. These are quick and easy. No legs. I have a couple of cutter quilts, I had purchased on ebay, I am using for the wings and stockings.

I have 4 of Samantha's #217 Christmas mice finished, have 5 more candy canes and mice to add ears to, and then they too shall be done.

Last I had this one wreath, sitting in my shed, decided to make a Santa head and attach. I love this wool, don't have much left, but it is so nice and long.

Tomorrow, back to the cancer center, for another 4 1/2 hour session, then hubby wants to go shopping. If you are interested in any of the patterns, I have put them on the side bar. I feel like since my fall show is over, Christmas time is here, since that is all I will making for the next few weeks.

Busy, busy, busy this week

Well, this has been a very busy week, working on getting enough stuff made for my next show. I had my chemo treatment on Friday. I took the nurses some Halloween aprons that Samantha made, they loved them. I also took some tarts and they loved the smells, especially the Kettle Corn. After doing my treatment, we headed home, then went back out to Micanopy with Samantha to help her set up. She will posting pictures and giving a show report hopefully tomorrow. I will give a hint, it was good. People came out and spent.

I got the new bear pattern from Sweet Meadows farm and made up 10 of these guys. Absolutely love them. I stuck old quilts in their arms. I used shoe polish and dye to stain their bodies.

I think the lighter ones are my favorites, hope to get time to get some more made. I have some off-white sherpa fur, would like to try.

I made up 3 of the new bag holder doll from the Craftholic, she had painted the faces and made the bodies for me.

I used up the last of the red print fabric on these little raggedies that Sheila also painted the faces and did the bodies for me.

I had some of the fabric with keys on and then found the skeleton keys at Michaels and put them around their necks.

this is just a quick post, I am working on some orders, Santa's and mice this week. Also made up alot of the beeswax items. Will post pics as I get them finished. Hope you all had a great weekend.

Back from McIntosh

"Well, one show down and one more to go". It was a great day, people were out buying, crowds were good. We had perfect weather. Shoppers started coming out at 6:30 with their flashlights.
Samantha and I got to meet Diane from Lavendar Dreams. Diane and hubby were so nice, it was a pleasure get to chat with them. She bought one of the dolls, that Sheila from The Craftaholic painted the faces for me. I only came home with 3 crates of stuff left. Now I am definitely in panic mode, I have my big 3-day show, Thanksgiving weekend, so I know what I will be doing for the next few weeks, non-stop sewing.
The bad news, is I had to start my cancer maintenance chemo therapy last week. Went to the doctors Monday and they wouldn't let me put it off till December, so one day a week for the next 3 weeks, I will be sitting there half the day for chemo. I was so tired and drained after that and the next day. So hoping this week will be better, I have to help Samantha set up for her show at Micanopy on Friday evening, then sit with her on Saturday, Luckily her hubby gets to sit with her on Sunday. I don't think he is looking forward to that, but I need a sewing day.

We got to meet Vickie Weaver and her friend Sue Hunter also, they were so nice to chat with. It is so nice to meet blogging buddies.

Busy Working

Well, this week has been catch up for me, I got all the Country Samplers orders finished, they go out the door tomorrow. I have a few more orders to get done this week. But the next few days, I am sewing for my show.

These guys are my Ernie Elf. Two of them still need their candy canes. I am making these in brighter colors. It seems like everywhere you look, the bright colors are in.

I had a couple of rusty paint cans laying around, and used them for Samantha's patterns Santa in a can. These made up real quick, I added lots of goodies in their bags. Pattern is on the sidebar if interested.

I made up about 6 sets of these guys, they are my 465 Christmas Stockings. I have to say, I really don't want to make any more of these. I have made my limit. I got all them made in less than 2 days.

Well, show is next Saturday. Been watching the weather reports, always worry this time of year, with the tropical storms out there. I have 2 spots and 2 tents, but really don't want to have to deal with rain. Well back to work.

Much needed help from Sheila

WE have been busy, washing the table linens from the wedding and watching Samantha's dogs. I am ready for her to be home and the grand dogs to go home. I love the dogs but they miss her and are wanting a lot of attention. so we have definitely been having lots of walks this week. My poor cat won't come into the house with them here. As soon as they hear the cat door start to open, they charge and chase him out of the yard.
I want to thank everyone for their nice comments on the wedding pictures. She will sharing some more pics of the wedding and honeymoon on her blog when she gets back.

As most of you know, I have just a few days until my first show, and I am so not ready. But thankfully Sheila from http://thecraftaholiccreations.blogspot.com/ came to my rescue, she painted the faces and made the bodies to these raggedies. all I have do is put the hair on them and dress them. I love the faces. She is busy stuffing and sewing, and we are trading out in items. I can't thank you enough Sheila for these wonderful dolls. Check out her blog, she has some great patterns.

I am doing them in different colors, some will be holiday and the others will be everyday.

I still have a few bodies to get dressed yet. I am busy finishing up orders from the Country Sampler. Ernie Elf has sold quite well, the Christmas Stockings have done great. But I am ready to sew for my show.

Samantha will be selling her tarts, room sprays and some of the more country looking aprons at MacIntosh, on Oct. 22nd. She is going to have to really get busy, she is helping me on the 22nd, then she has a show the following weekend at Micanopy, then 2 weeks off then, her 2-day show in Moultrie, Georgia. She has a double booth there, don't know how she is going to get enough done. She has been so busy with the wedding.

Wedding is over and back to work

The Wedding is over and it went great. Here are a few pics, we don't get the photographers pictures for a few weeks yet. But these are some from my camera.

Only a few tears, hubby got teary eyed walking her up the aisle, then during the father-daughter dance. He even got out there and danced, he said he was going to enjoy this party and he did.

A picture before the wedding, we were out in the Lobby of the Renaissance Hotel. Todd didn't have his jacket on yet.

This is her best friend Christina and her son Caleb, who was the ring bearer and Breleigh the flower girl. The kids made a great couple.

I am back to work, sewing, my show is the following weekend and I am so not ready for it. I have quite a few orders to get done, then hoping I can get back to sewing for me this weekend.

Well, only 4 more days until the wedding. I helped Samantha today with wedding favors. We glued hot pink bows on little glass slippers. Put golf balls and personalized hot pink tees in light pink organza bags, placed wedding stickers on tea bags and bagged mints. My 2nd mom (Midge) came over and helped us all afternoon. We had a lot of fun. At least most of it, is done now. Stress is almost over.

Samantha has been getting a ton of orders for her Santa's Clothesline. I am helping her finish them up, so they won't be hanging over her head during her honeymoon. These are 3 that we were able to get finished today. Pattern for the Santa's Clothesline is on the side bar for $5.00. She hopes to get a bunch of these made for our Christmas show.

Samantha's new pattern and show stock

It has been another really busy week. Samantha and I have been busy getting the last minute wedding stuff finished. We still have the programs and wedding favors to get done this week. A couple of friends will be helping us on Wednesday and Thursday to try to get it all done. Wedding takes place on Sunday.

Samantha's newest pattern is Harvest Scarecrow, a new applique` pillow. I have it listed on the side bar if you are interested for special pricing of $4.00.

I have been busy working on scarecrows, had several more Henry's sold and made up 5 extra for my show in 3 weeks. This is still one of my favorites.

I found 3 more large wreaths in the shed and make up 3 of my Primitive Snowman wreath. I cheated and added a wooden star instead of the fabric one in the pattern. I am running out of time and trying to get as much finished as I can.

I made up several bunches of my Primitive pumpkins and have only 2 sets left, I tied these together and put a prim tag on them.

I hope to start posting more next week, wedding will be over and I need to sew, so I can have enough for my shows this year. We will be watching our grand dogs. So will be taking lots of walks.

I am trying to learn to wear bifocal contacts and having a little trouble getting used to them, but have to say, it is nice to see my eyebrows for once. I can actually pluck my eyebrows now without having to try to go around my glasses. I have a lot of trouble getting them. Out seems to be a lot easier for me.

We have a busy week ahead of us, shopping tomorrow for shoes, hair appointments, nail appointments and wedding rehearsals and then finally the big event.

I can't believe how long it has been since I have been on here. so many things going on. Samantha's wedding is less than 2 weeks away. We have been running around trying to get last minute things finished. Still have party favors to get done. She has another shower Friday Night.
I haven't been able to get much done these past couple of weeks. I did manage to get 4 of my To all a goodnight pattern finished. These were smaller boxes, so I didn't put the light at the end.

I finished a couple of more scarecrows. This one is my Harry pattern from the You are Special pattern line. I added raffia for the hair, instead of the jute. I like this look so much better.

I found some more wood boxes in the shed and made up some of the Santa's Sleigh. These have always been a good seller for me.

I made up some of these little beeswax mason jars. They are about 2 1/2" in height.

Trying to finish up scarecrow heads tonight. Hope to be done with them tomorrow.

I went to the eye doctor on Saturday and I am trying to learn how to wear bifocal contacts. Everything's looks a little blurry when I try to read. He said I have to get used to them. But I need to be able to read. So not sure if I can handle this. I have a terrible time trying to put them in and take them out. so hoping I get used to them and learn to put them easier.

Well, I promise to start posting more this week. I think I have several days free this week to sew.

Test results, dolls and beeswax

Well, it has been a busy week. Went for my test results on Monday. I had a substitute doctor. My regular doctor is on maternity leave. I have to say I did not like him. First off, I have never had to put a robe on, in that office. so he comes in and say put the robe on and I will be right back. Then he feels my neck and stomach and underarms. They says, go ahead and get dressed and then we will talk. Needless to say at this time, I was worried. then he comes in a says, the pet/scan looked good. Now why couldn't he have said that the first time. I will start maintenance treatments in about a month or so, every 6 months I will have to take 4 cycles of drugs in the chemo dept. I want to thank everyone for there emails and support. Hoping now I can get back to work and not stress too much.

I was able to get 4 of these Raggedies done, one was for an order. This is actually my 314 Annie's Snowman, I just made her without the snowman. She is a big girl. I used rags to help stuff her body and she has a little bit of weight to her.

These scarecrows are my Olde Scarecrow. I still have to make the bag and more corn to go with them. These sold right away last year at my MacIntosh show. Still working on scarecrows.

I have had a lot of request for my beeswax items. I will have them on my website shortly. This are little niblets of corn. They measure about 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". I am offering them for 12/$5.00 plus shipping.

Busy week, Samanthas shower and dollmaking

What a busy week it has been, We had Samantha's Bridal shower on Sunday. I helped her Maid of honor arrange it. We had it at the Country club. She had a great time, a lot of family and friends showed up. A relative on the groom's side, made the cake for her. As you can see, her colors are hot pink and black. It was yummy

All of her Bridemaids were there, I still have to get some pictures downloaded. Most of food was brought by the groom's family. Samantha asked me to make deviled eggs for the shower. She loves my eggs. I met some more of her future in-laws. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

The picture below is a picture of my "moms". These 2 ladies are very special to me. Kind of like second mom's to me. Rose and Midge. I have known Midge since I was a little baby and Rose was a dear friend of my parents. Times like this is when I really miss my mom, she is not here to see her granddaughter get married, and really miss her presence.

This is Samantha with 3 of her bridesmaids, I still have to download the picture of the whole group.

My Friend Linda showed up early and helped get everything set up. She is a great lady. Been friends for many years.

I was able to get a little crafting done this week, I finished up some more journals.

I am working on a herd of reindeer. I added reins made from jute this year to them. Pattern on the side bar if interested for a special price of $4.00.

This guys are from my Hank the Scarecrow pattern. I managed to get five of these made. I love blue plaid flannel as you can probably tell. I am putting the pattern on the sidebar for a special price of $4.00 this week if you are interested.

I finished 2 of these big Christmas Annie doll's from Homespun Hugs and Calico kisses. She is a big girl. I love these.

I found another little body hiding in my craft room, put some clothes on her and added a little bear. I think I only have a couple of Santa bodies left, till I finish my pile of uncompleted projects.

I had to pull everything out of the trailer this past weekend, got everything tagged. Luckily I have little more done than I thought I did. Samantha is going to borrow my trailer, she has her first show this coming weekend at the Morocco Temple in Jacksonville, Fl. So if you are in the area, stop by and say hi.

This is going to be a stressful week for me. I go on Wednesday for my pet scan, get the results back on Monday. So please keep me in prayers this week for good results. Going to be a long weekend. I am helping Samantha set up on Friday afternoon, then sitting with her at the show on Saturday. So hoping this will be a good show for her.

Busy busy this week

I wasn't able to get too much sewing done this week. We got a lot of wedding stuff and shower stuff to do. We had a trip to Hobby lobby, rented the Country Club for her shower, made little thank you gifts for the shower. I went with her and one of her bridesmaids for her wedding portrait on Saturday. Samantha is having her bridal shower Sunday afternoon. Lots of phone calls and plans to get finalized.

I was able to get these little Raggedy Bodies finished. I am still working on half finished bodies, have to say I only have a few more unfinished bodies to finish.

Found an older pattern I hadn't tried yet, love these 2 prairie dolls. Found this fabric at one of the Walmart's in Jacksonville for only 1.50 yard. Now wishing I had bought more.

A few more pics I downloaded from the Camera. Below are the pics of Carmen and me, with our first room service ever. We ordered sandwiches and chips at 1:00 am just to say we had room service. I took my flannel pajama's with me this time, on the last cruise, I froze to death at night. Not this time.

Carmen is getting excited over that piece of chocolate cake.

I am trying to get 5 scarecrows finished up and get started on some more. Hope to post some more pics later on this week.

Back from the Bahamas

We left for the Bahamas cruise last Thursday and got back Sunday morning. We had a great time, ate too much. I actually gained some weight. We picked up Carmen on Wednesday, her daughter drove her halfway, and then Todd and I met them at Cracker Barrel. We were up early on Thursday morning, to leave for Port Canavaral near Orlando to meet our ship "The Sensation".
I don't have all the pictures downloaded yet. Should have some more to share tomorrow. Had fun with Carmen, I guess we both snore. Woke each other up at times.

the girls and I went to Senor Frogs and got some drinks. Samantha had some shirts made for them. While sitting at the bar, I noticed some guys across, looking at Samantha and Christina, next thing I know there they are, saying you getting married. And then trying to hit on Samantha. It was kind of cute, he said I am a bachelor and then he asked if she liked his hair.

Well, time to get back to work, have some raggedies almost finished. Samantha and I have to go to Hobby lobby tomorrow to get some stuff for her shower, the Bridal portrait Friday, if the hurricane doesn't get too close to us.

We are both working on some new patterns, hope to have them ready by the weekend.

Another week gone by

Another week gone by, I can't believe I haven't posted in a week. But been so busy trying to get orders done. I still have 2 sets of pumpkins to get finished by Tuesday. I have been working on some of Carmen's patterns from The Olde Farmhouse road. This one is called Mammy's Olde grey goose. I loved making her. the only thing I did different was put an eyelid on her eyes. I still can't paint the eyes. I used fabric strips to stuff the bottom of the doll. So she is nice and heavy.

Next, trying to finish up some doll bodies, this doll had been lying around for about 2 years now. Finally finished painting her black and added some clothes. You can probably see, that I am using a lot of red checked fabrics. I am trying to use up some of my fabric stash.

Next I made up some of Carmen's Annie Vacuum covers. I used an old feed sack that I had gotten off ebay awhile back from Park designs. Fits her perfectly.

This one I stained a little more in the face. I put an old towel with her.

If everything goes as planned, Carmen and I should be taking off Thursday on a 3-day cruise to the Bahamas with Samantha and some of her friends. I am keeping an eye on the weather, to see if any tropical storms are making up. So trying to get finished up with orders and get everything ready, only a few days left to go.

Well, I had better get back to sewing, I have several Annie bodies, trying to get dressed. True Blood comes on at 9:00 and I want to have everything stitched, so I can sew and watch TV.

Working on Scarecrows, Witches and scarecrow e-pattern sale

I have been trying to get some Fall stuff done this week between working on orders for Country Sampler. I made a bunch of the Henry Scarecrows and have just 3 left right now. So I need to get to Walmart and get some more raffia, hope to have a bunch of scarecrows for MacIntosh show.

I am hoping to get some pumpkins done this weekend. I seem to sell every set I get finished.

Hubby is running in a race in downtown Jacksonville this weekend. I will be up there with him tomorrow afternoon, in the heat.

I found this pattern on ebay by Primitive Moosehairs and got 4 of the witches made up. I really like her, I wasn't sure at first. But after she was all finished up, I am in the mood to get some more witches made up. I never have made up witches for my shows, so now thinking I need to make some dolls to go with my fall items.

Brand new pattern

I finally got this one done. I couldn't get the reindeer right and finally it all came together today. I made this in a sewing machine drawer, but I found some long planters that I think will also work for more of these guys. This pattern is available on the sidebar for $5.00.

I spent the evening with Samantha helping her write out Wedding invitations. Then came home and watched Hell's Kitchen and MasterChef. I don't know why I like Gordan Ramsey so much. Even got hubby hooked on watching these shows. He is working tonight, but has the TV on to watch also. Tomorrow morning we go to cake tasting, then work on invitations some more.

Quick Idea

These are some of the beeswax items, I have been making. I love these jingle bells. They look great in a bowl with some greenery and red berries

Next the Santa's are always a favorite with everyone.

These little beeswax holders, hold a battery operated candle. I like to put these in my doll's hands.

I didn't get a lot of time to finish my pattern today. Almost ready. Hubby wanted to go to Jacksonville, so spent the day with him. So hopefully will have it up tomorrow.
Here are some pics of some of the books I did a few years ago.

I purchased some old books from Goodwill, took off the jacket cover and painted them black. Sanded the edges down to look worn. I then, took a Santa image and printed on heavy weight paper on my computer. I cut to fit front of book. I used a lit match to scorch the sides of the cover label. Then, I took spray adhesive and lightly sprayed front of book and sprinkled glass glitter on book. Let dry, then add sprig of greenery and red berries.

I have some Santa images, that I found on the internet, as far as I know they are free, if anyone knows differently please let me know. Just right click and save.

been working on Santa's this weekend

Been finishing up some Santa's this weekend. I found this body in the pile of "to do's" left from last year. All I had to do was make his jacket and add a candy cane and do his face. One more down from my pile of half finished bodies.

I finished up some more of my Holiday bobbins, these are the Santa's. I have an old wood bucket, that I got from my parents, that these look great in.

This weekend seemed to go so fast. I had the weekend all to myself. Hubby worked, and I spent a lot of time in the pool. Just can't seem to get in the sewing mood this year, shows only a couple of months away now, and need to really get busy.

I had several fall items I had to finish, I got some pumpkins and scarecrow ready to ship out tomorrow. The new Country Sampler is out and already sold some finished items. Samantha has an ad in there also, and sold several aprons and patterns.

Dress Freebie for you today

I love making up little dresses, I made this dress out of Christmas plaids. I used a stick for a hanger. I found some small wood spoons in the party store and painted one red, and safety pinned it to the front of the dress. I make these in the colonial colors also and they always sell well for me. Last year I found some coat hangers on Ebay that were the perfect size for these dresses.

I am still trying to stash of buckets used up this year. I used an older pattern and made this snowman bucket up. I used alot of glass glitter on these guys. I printed a tag/label on some grunged up paper. I burned around the edges with a match to get an uneven look.

Samantha and I are going to Hobby Lobby today. She has gotten into 3 shows this year and we need to find some mannequins for her booth. Plus have to look at the fabric, see what I have to have.

I made up a few of these quilted head Santa's yesterday. Pattern is all the way down in free download box. It is called Quilted Santa head, it is an older one. I got part of an old quilt and made 3 of there hats from the quilt and the other from a red fleece. I also used beads for the eyes, instead of stitching the eyes this time. These make up quickly. I didn't get my other projects finished yesterday, but did manage to get these done.

Working on mice this weekend

I been working on mice this past weekend. where does the time go. I did nothing but worry all day Saturday and night. My daughters big dog Hurley was here and I hear this awful screaming, look out and Hurley has a little gray kitten in her jaws. Hurley is a mixture of pit bull and bull dog. I get the dog to drop the kitten and the kitten of course takes off. She went about 30 feet up a straight skinny tree. Wasn't sure how badly she was hurt. But she is wild, and scared and couldn't figure out how to get her down. This happened about 2:00 in the afternoon. Samantha and Chris show up at 9:00 that night to get their dogs. I told them what happened. Chris gets the bright idea to shake the tree, and of course have it fall into a sheet Samantha and I are holding. Did I say that is dark out. Well, of course, that didn't work. Told him I didn't think it would. Just made the kitten go higher. But about 2:00 went back out and shown the spotlight on the tree and kitten is gone. So hoping she climbed down, rather than falling.So maybe the shaking, made her realize she could climb or scared her half to death. But at least she got down and I could stop worrying. It is out of my hands now. But I can't stand the thought of a injured animal and a scared little one at that. Todd was even going to try using his tree climber stakes for his boots, he was worried too. But I didn't get anything done that day for worrying.

But I did get an older pattern by Kentucky Primitives, made up some of these little mice. I love them. Had seen these for years and never made them. I think it might be a mice Christmas this year. We took the dogs walking and did my search for sticks along the way.

Then I got some mouse traps, that I purchased from Walmart and made some mice to go the mousetraps.I took styrofoam and cut it to the shape of a wedge of cheese, then painted with a dark golden yellow color. As they were drying sprinkled a little cinnamon on them to grunge them up.

Prim Santa Stockings

Just a short post today. I have a doctors appointment. Have to get my port flushed out. An hour trip for a 5 minute appointment. So Samantha and I are going to go to Michael's after the appointment and look for Wedding stuff.

I am sharing a prim stocking pattern with you today. This is quick and easy. I make mine out of red ticking. I have included the Santa graphics in the pattern. I am pretty sure all are free graphics that I have collected. If they are not, please let me know. The smaller stockings look great with a little bit of Sweet Annie tucked in them. Working on Santa makedos and candle dipping

I have been working on some Santa Makedo's this weekend. This is a tweaked version of one of my You are Special Patterns. I have made this one for several years now. I was able to purchase some red/white quilts, and I used the for the hats. I have put a freebie version at the bottom of the page in the download box.

I spent some time dipping candles this weekend. I used some candles I had purchased at the Dollar tree.

I melted my beeswax and colored it a nice colored brown. I used a pair of tongs to hold the wick to dip it. As the beeswax starts to harden up some, you just keep dipping and you will get a nice grubby looking candle. A tip, after you have dipped your candle in wax, immediately immerse in cold water and it will harden it. Continue dipping in wax and then cold water, until you have desired look for your candle

beeswax is starting to get mushy and you can see the small pieces of wax attaching to the candle, this will look really grubby and lumpy after it has been rolled in spices.

This is another smaller candle I made, these were rolled in spices after dipping. These look more prim. I like to print out a label with vintage Santas and tie around a couple of candles with some jute. These look great in an old bowl.

Been working on little mice this week. I made these from warm and natural batting, then painted them with a mixture dark coffee and cinnamon. Let them sit on the stove all night, next morning they were dry and stiff. I put them on some wood bobbins and I had an old baby shoe. These little mice will go anywhere.

This picture is a little dark, it was raining and I couldn't get the lighting right. But I had some old mop heads laying around for a couple of years now. I had last made these little Angels over 2 years ago. I made some for a show, thinking I probably won't sell them, but I couldn't believe how fast they went. I thought mop angels had gone out years ago. So I decided to make some more this year. I am still trying to use some of supplies up. Decluttering my craft room.

I had added another freebie to the dowload box. This is an older pattern from my You are Special pattern line. I got several of Santa's done, still working on the snowman ornaments. Will post picture when they are all done. This pattern is in download box all the way at the bottom.

New Pattern and quick gift idea

Today I have another new pattern for you, this one is called #467 Snowman mitten. It is about 22" long, quick and easy to make. I used the red flannel on this mitten. If you are interested in the pattern it is on the side bar. I have a special price of $3.00 this week. I think I made this one up in a little less than an hour.

I found a place called www.choicefabrics.com, they are a wholesale fabric company, based in Tennessee. You can bolts of fabrics for around 3.00 yard. But you have buy the whole bolt to get the pricing. I was able to buy a whole bolt of the dark red flannel and colonial prints for next to nothing, compared to Joann's fabrics. So check them out if you have a tax number.

I had some kraft journals left from last year. I used the clear full sheet of see-through labels that Avery puts out. I printed some of the Santa designs that I have stored on my computer onto the label paper. Just cut out and stick to front of journal. These make a quick gift. I still have to put a jute tie and hang tag on them.

My Santas and Candy canes

I have been working on some of my #430 Mr. Jingles pattern this week. I made him a little different from last year. I put a bag in his arms, instead of the candy cane. It is amazing how different a look you can get, by using different wool for his beard. I had some dark red fleece, that I used for his coat. I have this pattern on the sidebar for a special price of $4.00 if you are interested.

My 3 Santa's waiting on Christmas to get here. I hope to make a bunch of Santa's this year with the dark reds and long white beards.

I made up some of more of my candy canes, I had a hard time finding the bigger plastic canes last year. Luckily I had bought a bunch of them, the year before. I had originally found the idea on http://www.americanprim.blogspot.com/. She has the tutorial on there for wrapping the candy canes if you are interested. These sell really well for me every year.

Last year, I found a bunch of the skinny candy canes and wrapped them the same way. I added the candy cane poem, to the candy canes as a tag.

Hi, Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. I was kind of quiet around her, hubby had to work. I spent the day in the pool. Got way too much sun. But it was so hot and the water was just right.

Well, I had better get back to my Santa's almost done, just have to do the candy canes and make one hat. I got my acceptance to the MacIntosh Show, I have my double booth again this year, same spot. So I have no reason not to get making things, this year has been hard one for me. I guess I am still a little down and have to start my maintenance treatments soon. I thought I would bounce back quick after chemo was done, but it is taking me longer than I hoped to get back to "normal". I am trying to eat better and get a lot more exercise. I even learned to eat broccoli and love it now.

I got news from my sales rep that one of my items will be on the cover of Country Sampler. I saw a copy of the cover and yes you can almost see it. But hey at least part of it is on the cover. So looking forward to getting that issue. Hard to believe the fall issue will be out in a couple of weeks. Well back to stitching, a friend of mine is in town from Orlando, is planning on stopping by. So better sew while I have a chance.

I have new pattern ready for you, I called this one Santa's List. He was so easy to make, I had it ready in little over an hour. I have 3 more cut out and ready to stitch up today. I have the pattern on the side bar for purchase if you are interested. I have a pattern special of $4.00 on this pattern during our Christmas in July.

Next I got out my bottlecaps and spray painted them with Rustoleum spray paint, they have the textured spray paints that are so prim looking now. I sprayed and let them dry in the sun. I purchased my bottle cap images from www.eweandmeprintables.com I printed them off on heavy cardstock, and glued them into the center. I then brushed mod- podge on them, set them out to dry again in the sun. I used stained tags and stenciled Christmas words onto the tag, then glued the bottlecap in place on the tag. Walmart has the little plastic zip bags with the vent hole in the craft section and I just slip the bottlecap in bag.

I am offering a free Gingerbread man pattern shown above today. This is in the Freebie box all the way at the bottom of my blog. I had fun making these guys. There are 2 different shapes in this pattern. They are heavily coffee stained, I used a mixture of instant coffee, Elmers glue and some dry spices. Luckily the hot Florida sun cooked these pretty fast.

Next, I made up some more of #447 Snowball fight and only have to put the whiskers on the mice. I didn't notice that they had no whiskers until I was taking the picture. I have this pattern on the right side for a special price of $4.00 if you are interested.

I got out my silicone molds and spent the day making gingerbread men and shoes. The little shoe ornaments are so cute. They are only a little over an inch in size. I hook these together and drape them over the Christmas tree branches and they sell out every time.

I found these little gingerbread molds and got a bunch of these made up. I added a hanger and rubbed them with some cinnamon.

I just got this mold, It is a big one, these guys measure about 6" tall.

As you can tell, I love gingerbread men, this is a bigger version of the smaller ones shown above.

I had a nice surprise today. I received flowers, no not from hubby. My friend Linda, who I haven't seen in awhile stopped by with some flowers to check on me and catch up. She brought be yellow daisies, last time we went shopping together, I bought some and she remembered. We have been friends for a long time, but don't get together very often. She brought me flowers and a lunch invitation. She works for the school, and has summers off. We usually get together a couple of times each summer. It is always fun catching up, and the grand dogs loved her. I am glad she was a dog person. Hurley , the big one, tried crawling up in her lap.

Well the dogs are begging for their walk, hubby is finally getting the lawn mowed. Hope you all have a great day.

Dolls and Samantha's 21st Birthday

Well this has been a busy week. I have been working on dolls and finishing up orders. I can now say, I am caught up on finished orders. I made a couple of the Sweet Meadows farm bag holders shown above. I still have to make the little sock monkeys to go in their hands. Still learning how to do the eyes, you will notice, that one doll has bigger eyes than the other. I guess this gives them different personalities.

I made a couple of more Black dolls from a Threadbare pattern. I put the feed sack aprons on these. Everything I put the feed sack aprons on last sold first. Instead of the yarn hair, I am using the black sheep's wool.

I made up a few of the Ugly Stella angels by a Raven's Haven pattern. She is always fun to make. She is so ugly, but people seem to smile when they look at her.

I finished up 8 of these bird pincushions from a pattern by Rock River Stitches.

Next, I purchase some bears from Angie Upton from Blue House Primitives. She does a great job and these are so prim looking.

I saved the best for last. My baby girl turned 21 on June 15th. She spent the day with us, grand dog came over too. Then Chris came over after work. I always cook her a birthday dinner and she wanted stew and green bean casserole. So that is what we had. I cheated and bought a store bought birthday cake. I am not good at decorating cakes, so bought one a Walmart and added the candy letters. Hubby always likes to eat the leftovers. It is so hard to believe she is 21 years old. Time sure does fly by.

Well, I have the whole evening to myself, hubby is working night shift, so hope to get some sewing done and then maybe finish with a good book. Hope you all have a great weekend.

I finally got these 2 patterns finished. The First one is on my Olde Country Cupboard line. This is going in the Christmas issue of Country Sampler. I call this one 465 Christmas Stockings. The stockings are approx. 15"-16".

The Next pattern is from You are Special Line. This is my prim 325 Angel Makedo. She is approx.. 19"-20" on the beehive bobbin. I have buying my bobbins off ebay from Mathews Wire. I have have had several ask me where I purchase them. Both of these patterns are on the side bar if you are interested in purchasing.

The taste testing went great, I thought we would get little portions and maybe be there with others that were taste testing. But they had a whole dining room for us, with a sign out front that said Schmidt/Flanders taste testing on it. We went in and the table with set with all the dinnerware and champagne glass. We started off with 3 different soups, Lobster bisque, corn and crab chowder and another type of chowder. Then we had the main courses, Prime Rib, Pecan Chicken and Shrimp Scampi. We had 3 different potatoes, scallop, sweet potatoes and loaded baked potato and finished off with a glass of champagne and chocolate strawberry. Needless to say, we didn't have to eat dinner that night. Todd, Samantha, Chris, Chris's Mom and I all went. We looked at the restaurant where they booked the rehearsal dinner. So it seems like everything is coming along.

Well, I have a doll I have to get finished tonight. I am working on some black dolls and Annies after that, getting them finished up.

I have been busy sewing this week, I finally feel like I might be getting motivated again. I made several of these little Annies. They are by a Ragg Baby Pattern, been making these for several years, they still keep selling for me.

Next I made up several of my Elmo Scarecrow pattern. I love these guys. Hoping they will be a hit at the shows this year.

I made several of Samantha's new pattern Sammy Scarecrow. That pattern has been a big hit for her. These were so much fun to make. I love using the old beehive bobbins. Just ordered 12 more, I need to get some santa's made up soon. I have this pattern on the side bar for Samantha if you are interested in the pattern.

I been in a bear making mood, I found this old pattern by Konfettis. It has been while since I made these. This is a big old potbellied bear. The color in the phot didn't turn out quite right. This was a copper colored plush felt that I had. Still trying to use up my stash of fabric.

Tomorrow, Todd and I go with Samantha and Chris to the World Golf Village. That is where they are getting married. We are going to a taste testing of the entree's for the dinner. Supposed to have Pecan Chicken, Prime Rib and Shrimp Scampi, sound kind of crab and corn soup. Hope they give us a little more than just one taste.

Well going to try get some more things sewn up today. I have been in pool vacuuming and cleaning it out today. Got too much sun.

So I am going to be busy working on scarecrow and pumpkins this week. I had my checks cashed for my big show in MacIntosh, Florida. They usually don't cash the checks this early, but I am glad they did. They don't send out acceptances until the middle of July. Now I don't have to worry about rather I got in this or not.

Good news today

I got good news today, my doctor said my pet/scan was good. I don't have to go back until the middle of September for another Pet/scan. If it still shows good, she will then start me on a maintenance drug called Rituxin, I have to take it one day a week for 4 weeks, every 6 months. So she said I will have my port in at least 2 years. She reassured me that if it comes back, there are many treatments to try yet. That made me feel much better.

So, I now have no reason not to get busy. Samantha and I have been working on Fall items this past weekend. She has 2 scarecrow items and another kleenex coverup that should be ready tomorrow. Samantha, Chris and the grand dogs spent Memorial day with us, they came over and swam. My friend Becky from Orlando, came by and we went to Walmart and did some shopping. Then came home and had a big pork roast, potatoes, green beans and garlic biscuits for dinner. Oh, and a big pot of boiled green peanuts. At least I had enough left over for dinner tonight.

I haven't gotten a lot done this week. I have gotten several orders for my Raggedy bobbins. I have been making these this week. Also sold several of my Tattered Angel that is in the Country Sampler this month. I really like these, hope to get quite a few made this year for my shows. I need to order some more bobbins, getting low. I find mine on ebay. I finished these up while watching American Idol this week.

I finally got in the pool today. It was so nice, water is getting warm now. I stayed in until it started thundering on me. So hoping this weekend will stay sunny and dry. Hubby works this weekend, so hoping I can really get motivated and sew. It is only about 4 1/2 months till my first show and I don't have hardly anything made. This is worst I have ever procrastinated in getting stuff done. I don't know if it is me or if I just have lost interest. I still want to do the patterns, but mass producing isn't the same as it used to be. Hoping after Tuesday, and if I get a good report from the doctor, that will start me working again.

I have several new patterns to get written up. Samantha has some new kleenex cover patterns almost finished. If I just get all my unfinished items done, I would have a lot done.

Pet/scan today and email problems,

today, I had to get up at 6:30 and get to Gainesville for my Pet/scan. I won't get results until Tuesday. So needless to say, my nerves are going to bad this weekend. Hoping I will still be in remission. Even if I stay in remission, I will have to start on a maintenance drug, which means going to Gainvesville once a week for 4-6 weeks and receiving a drug in my port. Not looking forward to that, but hopefully it will keep it from coming back too soon.

I haven't gotten much done, these past few days, worrying too much. But my part is done now, it is out of my hands. Just have to hope and pray everything will be alright.

I still having problems, getting Toni her pattern, it still keeps bouncing back to me, saying it is undeliverable. So please Toni, email me your address and I will get this right out to you. Don't know what is up with the email problems,

Well, going to try to do some yard work and plant some flowers hubby bought today.

I got my newest Pattern finished yesterday, I call her Annie's Rooster. It took me a couple of tries to get her looking right. She was just going to be a summer Annie, then I decided to make her with a rooster. I found some old green plaid fabric, stuffed in a closet, that worked perfectly for her dress. I used a logo from http:www.eweandmeprintables.com/ for the apron. I couldn't figure out how to get the Rooster drawn out, then I remembered the rooster Carmen had gotten me at Christmas from Beall's. So I used that Rooster as a guide. I have this pattern on the sidebar if you are interested. Pattern is $6.00. The logo is not included in the pattern. If you want a pre-printed rooster logo on muslin, I am selling those for $1.50 ppd.

Next I dug out an old Threadbare Primitives pattern, and made this black doll. I wasn't sure if I was going to make black dolls this year. But I had this watermelon fabric and it just seemed to fit this doll. I used sheep's wool for her hair, instead of yarn, like the pattern called for.

We have had a lot of request for wholesale tarts and sprays, so after a lot of thought, Samantha and I have decided to give it a try. She has already picked up a few stores. Well, I have been wanting to declutter my house somewhat, I took down most of my chickens. I want a more bare look. I love my old crocks and scales. I played with some arrangements around the house. Here are some of the pics of what I did today, still have alot of decluttering to do.

I found some labels that I had ordered last year, and been gluing them to jars with the covered lids. Everywhere you look on my hutches, you can labels in my house.

Well, I guess that is about it for now, got a ton of half finished dolls, to get dressed, orders to do. But all I want to do is go to bed early and read a book.

This week has really went by too fast. I have busy working on feed sack pillows, I had a bunch or orders for them. Finished up more doll orders. I am now working on some my Angel dolls that are in this issue of the new Country Sampler, they need their bloomers and pillows in their arms and they are finished.

Last night, we got a call around 9:00, Samantha called and said we needed to get Chris's insurance card at the house. They were in a wreck, but luckily it was his truck. Someone pulled in front of them at the intersection. Of course, she didn't have her seat belt on, she banged up her knee and arm. She is feeling it today, her shoulder is sore. Hopefully, this will be a lesson to wear your seat belt. Luckily they were not going at high speed, and she may have really been hurt. The other guy's truck looked like it may be totaled. Scary what can happen a couple of miles from your house.

I am in the process of my having my website update with new scents for tarts, finished items and new patterns. I am burning one of my cornbread tarts today and the house smells so good. Hubby even likes this one Samantha has a couple of new things ready, the first is a stitchery cat pillow. This is a quick and easy stitchery to do. I love the cat foot prints on this one.

Next she finished up a cat pincushion. This one turned out great. This is a big pincushion. I have both of her patterns on the side bar if you are interested. The stitchery is $2.00 and the Cat pincushion is $4.00 for the e-patterns. Join click the epattern button and the drop down bar.

Well, we are off to Joann's again tomorrow, ran out of muslin and onasburg. Just got my coupon booklet out and the coupons expire June 18th, so I guess we had better get them used. I have 2 need patterns almost ready to go. One is an Annie with a rooster, I love this one, hope you all do too.

New Elf pattern ready

I have gotten my little Ernie Elf pattern finished today, hope to get the Prim Angel Makedo written up tonight. I have this pattern available on my side bar for a special price of $5.00 until I get it up on my website. I had fun with the little guy, even though it took me 3 different clothes changes to get him right. I couldn't get the colors right on his clothes, but he is done. I love him. He will be going in the Country Sampler with some Christmas feed sacks.

I have felt pretty good these last few days, still nervous about the upcoming Pet/scan. It is in 2 weeks and then the results the following week. Just hoping it will stay clear. She said I could stay in remission as long as 2 years, so hoping this year will be a good one. I have several more patterns trying to get done for the upcoming holidays. I have a fall one and 2 more Christmas designs, and of course so more Raggedy Annes. But I ended up getting a couple more finished doll orders, so need to get them done before I can do them.

Samantha has a new pattern out, we worked on getting it finished up yesterday, this little lady holds a box of tissues. She is about 17" tall. The pattern is called Abigail .This may become a new line of kleenex cover patterns for her. I love how this turned out. I have it on the side bar if you are interested. Finally got all orders done

Well I finally got all the orders done this past week. I had the #248 I Love Gingerbread Dolls from our You are Special line and feedsack pillows to make. They are now on the way to their new home.

I had several of the #300 Annie Bag holders from our You are Special line to get made, I made these in the chicken print, put a little Rooster feedsack with them and a rooster tag. I love this print. Bright and cheery.

I had an order for an older pattern the #248 Angel Annie from our You are Special line, without the wings top make. She is a big girl around 38" tall. Lots of stuffing for this one.

and the other one was my #247 Holiday Annie, from our You are Special line,some of these are the older patterns, but I had forgotten how much I like them. I may have to bring them back to the shows this year.

This past week has been a busy one, with going with Samantha to do flowers and our trip to Joann's and seeing Carmen last week. Samantha and Chris, invited us over with his mom, sister and brother for a cookout on Mother's day. We had a great time. Chris's family is very nice and easy to talk to you. And of course we got to Buddy, he got to visit with the grand dogs.

This week I hope to working on new patterns and getting some inventory built up. Still not alot of energy, but hoping to get my motivation back this week, since I have all the orders finally done. I am also hoping to get more of the You are Special line put in e-pattern form this week. Hubby is working this week, so hoping I don't have to go or do anything this week.

New Stitchery Pattern, update on Carmen and dolls

Good news on Carmen, she should be coming home tomorrow. A big thank you to all her send her cards and well wishes. She really appreciated them. Hopefully she will be posting in a few days. We went up on Monday and spent some time with her, went to house and got her some clothes. Todd played with her cat Miley.
Samantha got another new stitchery pattern done. This is for a prim alphabet. Pattern is available on my side bar for $2.00 for the e-pattern. She has a couple of more in the works. She has been selling quite a few aprons these past few days. I have been working on more dolls, these are from my #313 Seasonal Annie pattern from the You are Special line. I had a couple of orders for the finished dolls, managed to get 4 of them finished. Only have 4 more dolls to get finished for orders. This week, haven't been feeling too great. So haven't gotten as much done as I had planned. We did get Samantha's flowers for her wedding booked. We found someone local who was 1500.00 dollars cheaper than the other quote we got. I can't believe the service charge the more expensive one tacked on, it was over 700.00 for a service charge and delivery charge. They were only about 20 minutes from the wedding location and the one in town that will have to drive an hour is only charging $125.0o for the delivery service and also said they make the cake for $225.00, other cake prices have come in at over $500.00. So it really does pay to support your home town businesses.

Tomorrow I am going with her to pick up her ring, it was a little too big and she needed to get it sized. While we are up there, we are going to go to Joann's, which I can always find some more fabric that I don't need. Then I guess we will get to eat out and then back home for a vet appointment for Buddy.

Working on more dolls

Well, still nothing really new on Carmen's condition. They are having to monitor her for the infection. It looks like they are worried it may affect her heart. She is having a hard time, really depressed. Especially since she has no family up there with her. We are still planning on go up there on Monday to check on her and take her a care package. But she still has a long healing time ahead of her. Thanks again for everyone's well wishes and prayers. I have been working on some more of the Colonial blessings vacuum cover dolls, I love this pattern. I did 1 in shades of a mustard plaid, and the other in a gold & tan plaid. I have this pattern in e-pattern form now. I will be selling it for Carmen until she is able to get back to her computer. Do you ever have a pattern that you absolutely hate to make. I have made so many of these, I cringe when I get an order. The sad thing is, they are really easy to make. But I had to force myself to get this Raggedy couple done for an order. I always like them, when they are finished. This is from my You are Special line, #298 Raggedy Couple. I still have quite a few finished orders to get done. Then hoping I can get back to designing and sewing up some new stuff.

Update on Carmen

Carmen has had her first surgery, she had three pockets of infection in her shoulder. They lanced those and left it open. She goes back into surgery today, to check and see if it draining properly. They will probably put some kind of drain in her arm to keep it drained. She had to have 2 blood transfusions last night. But we talked for awhile and she seemed a little more calm. They won't tell her long she has to stay in the hospital yet, but hoping for some answers today on that. Alot of you have emailed me and ask about sending cards, she said she would love some cards, but to send them to her home address. Someone is collecting her mail for her. That would give her a big surprise when she gets home to find some cards waiting for her.

Carmen is in the hospital Needs your prayers

Hi Everyone,
A quick update on Carmen. She had to go to the emergency room Tuesday. Her shoulder was much worse and inflamed. The regular doctor took one look and said OMG and sent her right away to the hospital. They have her on heavy duty antibiotics right now and just did a MRI. The doctor came in a said they had never seen anything like that. They took her immediately to surgery to "cut" out the infection. It seems a little like what happened to her over a year and half ago, when she almost died from an infection in her back. It seems like the medicine she is taking to keep her RA under control is lowering her immune system and she keeps getting life threatening infections. So anyone is trying to get in touch with her, she will probably be out of reach for a while. I will keep you all updated.
So please keep her in your prayers.

Hope everyone had a great Easter. Samantha, Chris and the grand dogs came up today. They went swimming and we cooked pork roast, mashed potatoes, chicken scampi, roasted corn on the cob and dinner rolls. I made Samantha and Chris an Easter Basket. I have always made her one, I don't think she will ever get too old for me to make one for her. When she has kids, I guess I will be making up Easter baskets for the whole family.

I have been working on some bag holders this week. The one above is my #440 Prairie doll bag holder. I used the logo feed sack from www.eweandmeprintables .com and made little feed sack pillow to fit in her arm. These sold very well for me last year. I put the pattern on the sidebar for a special price of $4.00 for this week only, if you are interested.

I had a customer order a couple of sets of the prairie pillows. I made these in blue ticking fabric, with a sprig of Sweet Annie. I filled these with the cedar sawdust shaving. I also added some potpourri in with the sawdust to make them smell really good.

I also had a special order this week for my Miz Ruby doll. She will be the last one in the original colors. I finally used up the last of the fabric for her apron. I had found the apron fabric on Ebay and of course, can't find it anywhere else. I hate to use some of my fabrics, because I know they can't ever be replaced.

I had went to Walmart yesterday and found a float for the little dog Harley to use in the pool. She went for a test float today. She wasn't too sure about it. I know the water is still way too cold for me to get in, but Samantha braved it. Chris donned the goggles an vacuumed the bottom for us. Poor hubby is on midnight shift and got up at 1:00 and we had to eat by 5:00 for him to get to work. He woke up with a migraine and has 12 hours tonight, plus he has to stay over for about 3 hours in the morning, before he gets to drive home. I always worry about the 30 minute drive, afraid he will fall asleep.

Working on Dolls, and My swap from Jean

I have been working on Annie Dolls this week and orders. I had some orders for the Annie's Memories doll from my You are Special Line. She continues to sell, even though the pattern has been out for a couple of years now.
Yesterday, I got my box from Jean Barker, my swap partner. Samantha had an Easter swap on her blog and I was paired with Jean. I love everything she sent. She sent me a big ol' box full of goodies, the big chicken, candles, little Raggedy Anne and Andy set, little pocket with berry spray, wood chickens, notepad and a bag of candy that hubby grabbed (you notice it is not in picture) . So thank you Jean, hope you got my email thanking you. I loved it, was a great mail day. Love it when I get boxes in the mail.

I have a table full of doll bodies, these are some of them. I have using my scraps to stuff the bodies, so you see some dark fabric showing through, but it helps to save on polyfil.

I accidently deleted some emails and can't get them back, someone had emailed me about some sprays and tarts and before I could read it, I had deleted it. So if you emailed me and haven't heard back, please email me again. So sorry about that. I will be adding my new scents to the website soon. I am burning some this week to test them out. The new ones will be Maple Walnut Fudge, Granny's pecan pie, Country Gift shoppe, to name a few. They will be $1.00 for a 2 oz. tart, plus shipping. Also, have had a lot of interest in our room sprays. They are $6.95 each plus shipping. These are the 8 oz. bottles. I had been using a ceramic electric tart warmer and then I got my old colonial tin warmer out that has thin metal and the canning jar. I don't know if it gets hotter or what, but my tarts smell much stronger in the canning jar one. The ceramic one, I purchased from Walmart takes a while to melt the tart, but the other one, just melts it in no time. So I guess I know which one I am going to use from now on.

Well back to work., I have doll bodies calling my name.

Working on dolls this week

I have been working on dolls this week, got about 7 of my Precious Memories dolls done. I ran out of sawdust and had to go to Walmart. I bought the pet bedding that has cedar shavings and it smells so good. This is perfect for the feedsack pillows, but kind of expensive this way. I need to check at the local sawmill and see what I can get there.

Samantha spent the afternoon with me, we were making more tarts and room sprays. Had quite a few orders for them. So we had the house smelling good again. It was nice, Samantha had dinner with us, and her dad talked her ear off. I think he is really missing her.

Carmen still isn't feeling good, so please keep her in your prayers, she still waiting to her back from her doctor. All she can do at this point is take pain pills, to keep the pain down. Her RA is really bad right now in her shoulder.

Next, I made some of Bag holders from a Sweet Meadows farm pattern, I love her patterns. I just purchased her newest bear pattern and hope to get it made next week.

Another new logo from www.ewenmeprintables.com, I love this one. It will perfect for Christmas. I have had quite a few orders from the Country Sampler ad. I was almost caught up then got several more orders these past few days.

Well, I finally got her finished. I call this one #323 Annie's Gingerbread Men. She is about 24" tall and holds (2) 8" gingerbread men. I have her available as an e-pattern on the side bar if you are interested.
This week has flown by. I was able to get caught on most orders have only 2 dolls to make now.

Pattern orders are finally all caught up. I have a few more ideas for new dolls, hope to get to them in the next day or so.

Samantha came up yesterday and we made tarts. Had them everywhere. We made Cinnabuns, Maple nut fudge, Country gift shop, Granny's pecan pie, MacIntosh Apple, Warm apple pie, the Olde country cupboard scent, banana nut bread and Creamy pecan praline. The house smelled really good yesterday. I have some orders for some room sprays. Had several call lately wanting the Amish quilt. It is still my favorite scent. So I guess I will making on some more to have on hand. Since the post office won't let you ship liquid items, I took them off my website. But had several from my MacIntosh show that took my card and are wanting more. So, I guess I will using UPS to ship them.

Samantha brought the dogs up yesterday. Todd was able to get in the pool yesterday. It was up to 93 degrees the other day. Little Harley went swimming with him. As you can see Big Hurley hides in the house and peeks out. She doesn't like the water. So she runs in the house when someone is in the pool.

New Christmas Pattern

I haven't got much done today.Got a new book and been reading all evening. I should be sewing, but I love to read. Hubby is at work. I have the house to myself.

busy week, New Chicken Stitchery, soaps and feedsacks

It has been a busy week, trying to play catch up. I am so far behind. I feel like I have been on a long vacation, without any of the fun. Have quite a few doll orders backed up. I have working on them this week.

I found some soap base laying around, I have been trying to spring clean some this week. I got a new mold from Homespun Heart primitives. the Prairie doll and wanted to get some of her made up. I also made up some of the Raggedy Anne mold soap. I still have to rub some dry cinnamon on them to grungy them up. But love how they turned out.

Samantha got another stitchery made up this week, This one is called the Olde Homestead. She is advertising a country style apron with this pillow in the fall issue of the Country Sampler. I have this pattern on the side bar if you are interested in purchasing for $2.00. This pillow is a 9" x 10" size.

The New issue of Country Sampler is out and the black doll I have in there is selling really well. I have the dolls almost completed, all are sold, so have to get to Walmart and get more paint. One of the Walmart's, we were in recently, had some of their acrylic paints marked down. So you all might want to check, another thing they seem to getting rid of. I checked my Walmart in town, and sure enough, the barn red paint was on clearance. I bought all of it they had. So hopefully, these girls will get their hair and eyes on tonight. I hope to get them on their way Monday.

I have a few new feedsack designs I added to my website. I love the elf one. I hope to have lots of elves made this year. The feed sacks will go great with them. The logos are from eweandmeprintables. These are selling great for me. My daughter kept telling me I need a horse one, so I finally got it.

Well, the rest of the weekend is sewing and trying to finish orders, then hopefully I get that Raggedy Anne finished, She still needs her clothes. She will be a new pattern for Christmas. Hope you all have a great weekend.

New Pattern Miz' Rosa

I finally got her finished. I call her Miz' Rosa. She is a big girl about 32" tall and kind of stocky. I lucked out and found some of this feed sack panel fabric. So hard to find, but found it from another crafter selling off stock. I have this pattern on the side bar if you are interested. I helped Samantha paint today, not my favorite thing to do. Hubby is buying new carpet for her bedrooms. It still had the old carpet from when my parents lived there. It was old and she had been wanting new carpet for while. So he bought her carpet and ordered me a couch from Lazyboy. I have wait 5-6 weeks to have it made. But I guess it will be worth it. It is kind of colonial looking and blue. We couldn't find a solid blue couch anywhere. I have the blue braided rugs and quilts that match , so we didn't want to change the color. So just have to be patient.

Fall items and Samantha's new pattern

I have been working on Fall stuff for the Country Sampler ad. I decided to do my Simple Pumpkins #450 and #445 Henry. Henry sold great last year. I made him up too late to go into the magazine last year. I always seem to wait till the last minute to get my product in for the magazine. So now I have to overnight it.I have almost got the new doll finished. so hopefully she will be ready in the next day or so.

Samantha's new pattern is called #206 Wash Day. It is a clothesline with prairie doll clothes, also includes a pillow. I love this one. She is also going to do a Christmas one this week. Still feeling pretty good today. I took my exercise bike outside today and rode about 1 1/2 miles. I am so out of shape. I was huffing and puffing. Both my legs cramped up. I really need to start exercising again. It was embarrassing. Hubby runs marathons and I can't even ride a half mile without stopping.

I guess I had better get back to sewing.

New Pattern and Road trip

Can you believe it, I finally started sewing again. I have actually felt better this past week. Still having a few stomach issues. But I can eat again. I gained 5 pounds. It has been so long since I got hungry, I had forgotten what hunger pains were. I have been busy trying to get some new patterns finished up. The fall issue of Country Sampler is due. So I am still working on getting that ready to send out Monday. My newest pattern is called Olde Prairie Angel. She is a big doll, about 27" tall. I love prairie dolls. This one is holding an embroidery hoop and heart. She is available on the side bar for purchase, e-pattern or mailed version.

We went on another road trip this week, with Carmen and Samantha. My hubby drove us all the way to Atlanta. We went on a fabric buying trip. Between all three of us, we spent over $500.00. So we should be set for awhile now. We took little Buddy with us, he was so glad he didn't have to stay home this time. He took turns sitting with Samantha and on my lap. Everytime we got something to eat, he got a hamburger or chicken nugget. Talk about spoiled. We left the house at 6:30 that morning, stopped in Valdosta, picked up Carmen then went on the Atlanta. It was 10:30 that night before we got home.

I tried to get a picture of Carmen, but she wouldn't let me take her picture. She slept half of the way there. She Started snoring and woke herself up. It was funny, I heard a little snort, looked at Todd. He started laughing and couldn't resist making a comment. She had her hair cut and highlighted, but you can't see it because of the hand.

I have a few more new patterns almost ready to go. Hoping to get them done in the next day or so. Hope to be able to post a lot more now. I see my cancer doctor on Monday and find out what maintenance program I will be on. So hoping I have a few weeks without a doctor's visit.

Samantha's Show and Carmen

Samantha had her first show this past weekend. It did pretty good for her. There were a lot of no shows on the booths. So instead of getting just one booth, she got 2 booths for the price of one. Overall a good experience. She made some money and came back ready to find another show and do. She loves her new sign, that Sheila from the Craftoholic made for her. The sign went perfect with her colors. She is bursting with ideas for her booth and what to make next.

Samantha may try to do the holiday show there also. She is still trying to figure out how many shows she can do and get all the planning done for the wedding in October.

Here you can see Hubby, he drove separately, to come and help her set up. He likes to get everything set up and do the cash register programming. He had to drive home on Friday night, before the show. He didn't want miss being a part of Samantha's first show. He had to dog sit all 3 of the dogs over the weekend, plus run in a race he does.

And of course, Carmen and I. We got to stay at her house and catch up on everything. Thank you Carmen. Samantha loved her cat and her dogs. Samantha and I slept in Carmen's bed and poor Carmen had to sleep on the couch. What are best friends for? Todd took us out to Waffle house after setup and we all had a big breakfast.

I am going to get some sewing done this week. I actually gained a few pounds this past weekend. Go for my bloodtest tomorrow. So hoping I finally going to start getting back to my routine.

BEEN A HARD WEEK AND SURPRISE IN THE MAIL

It has been a hard week, this last chemo treatment knocked me off my feet. My bloodcount keeps going down and now I am neutrophenic, so I have to have a shot everyday to try to boost my bloodcount back up. So needless to say, this has been a hard couple of weeks. I am supposed to take my last chemo next week, but unless my counts come back up, I may not be. I haven't had the energy to sew at all, Samantha's show is next week and I am going with her, hope these shots work and I can feel better by then. I get to visit with Carmen also, looking forward to that. I have done nothing but take naps and lay around all week. Still having stomach problems, not as bad, but still there. So I guess my next stop is the gastro doctor. It sure is fun getting older.

But I had a great surprise in the mail from Sheila at: http://thecraftaholiccreations.blogspot.com/ She made me a darling little raggedy and painted an apron to match. Also painted a chicken on a little basket, she added a kitchen towel and chicken spreaders. Thank you so much. She also made a sign for Samantha's Business, I love it. Hopefully this shot will help me get back on my feet, the only bad part, I have to go every day to get the shot, until my count goes up. It is an hour there and back. So hoping to get back to sewing this week. Thanks so much for all emails asking where I was and if I was alright, it is greatly appreciated.

Well, I have been getting a little done this week. I dug out an old pattern from Raven's haven and made this doll. I had made her several years ago and loved her. This one is called Maude Addie. She is very prim. I didn't get too many black dolls made last year, and of course I had quite a few requests for the black dolls. So hoping to get more made this year.

I had a nice surprise in the mail yesterday from Karen Betchan. She sent me this little bunny and matching dresses. Karen you really made my day. Wasn't feeling too good and this really cheered me up. I have them setting out in living room. Just have to decide which dress to dress her in.

I had purchased some mustard plaid fabric last time I was at Joann's and wasn't sure what I wanted to make with it. I decided to make up one of Carmen's patterns up. "The Colonial Blessings" vacuum cover doll. I love this print on her. I just purchased this phone from Seventh Avenue and love it. I have it in my kitchen. It is so vintage looking. The only bad thing is no answering machine or caller id. So had to hook the other phone in the next room, to get messages and see who's calling. But love this phone.

Well, I guess I had better get to work, orders are kind of getting behind. Been really tired this week, but hope to get some more energy. Can't believe it is almost March. This year is already flying by. I got my invitation to MacIntosh so I have to get busy.

Working on Annie's and Samantha's 2 new Stitcheries

Well, I have had quite a few orders for Christmas dolls this past couple of weeks. So I guess I am working on Christmas items again. I decided I might as well, go ahead and get ready for the shows since I only do fall and Christmas. It is almost like why bother trying to do anything for spring. So I guess, I will start on new patterns for the holidays. I will be getting my contract for the Fall issue of Country Sampler this next month and need items to put in there. These little dolls are my #282 Candy Cane Annie doll from my You are Special line. She always sells really well for me. I have a couple of Gingerbread Raggedy's to make, 2 of the Little Annie with her frog and patriotic annies to get done this week. Then back to sewing for me.

Samantha has 2 new patterns out, I love these, these are stitcherys from my last two dolls. She did a great job on them. She has been busy working on her show stuff. She has been making tarts and picked up a wholesale account for her tarts. So she has tarts all over her house right now. Been feeling alittle better this week, I still have my stomach problem, but hoping they will eventually go away. Please say a prayer for Carmen, she is having some medical problems, right now and needs our prayers. I wish we could all be healthy and not have so many things to have to worry about. life would sure be so much better without all the stress and worry over our health. Pet Scan Results

Well, I went to the Doctor's Appointment today. Took an extra anxiety pill. When she came she said how are you? I said nervous. She kind of smiled and some of my anxiety left. According to Pet scan I still have some activity in my throat, but it has gone down. Lymph nodes in my chest are all gone. I still have some in my abdomen that are enlarged, they are smaller than they were. Something about if they are not over a certain size, they don't concern themselves with those as much. So I have 2 chemo treatments and have to have Rituxin treatments every three weeks, Petscan every 6 months for 2 years. So thank you so much for all your prayers, it really worked. She said my stomach symptoms were strange as they moved all around, so it may be my gallbladder, but she said they were no other signs of cancer in body. So I hope to now to be able to focus on positive things now. I have quite a few orders to get done, so I guess I had better get busy. thanks so much again for all who have prayed and sent emails. I really appreciate it.

Well got my Pet scan done, now waiting until Monday, the hardest part. Samantha went with me and then we did a little shopping afterward. I am trying to get some of those orders finished up this weekend. Samantha in-laws to be are giving her and Chris an engagement party. So we will there on Saturday afternoon.

I finally got the Santa finished. Took me long enough. But one more thing crossed off my list. I still have 3 Raggedy Anne's to go and then I am done hopefully for a little bit. This was my Father Christmas pattern. He really makes up fast once I start sewing. It is just taking the first stitch sometimes. I had him finished in 2 evenings.

Well tomorrow is the day I got for my Pet Scan, scared of course. Then Monday I go for the results. So scared they are going to find something else wrong. My stomach problems are all still there. Which doesn't help me calm my mind any. I guess when you have cancer, you always worry, if some other cancer will show up. So if I can get through this coming week and weekend, maybe I will have some peace. I need to make up a list of questions to ask her this time, I always forget to ask something when I am there. I guess just knowing that this can't be cured and only treated and that someday I am going to get worse, just scares me so much. You just never know how much time you have left on this earth. So much I want to do. My daughter is going with me, she said as long as she doesn't have to watch them stick me with a needle she will be fine. Just like her daddy, can't stand blood or needles. This is her last day at work, so glad, selfishly, I will have my daugher right down the street. I should be able to spend more time with her. So please say a big prayer for me to help me get through this coming week.
